COTONEASTER PARNEYII

COTONEASTER PARNEYII

SKU: COPA
Price: $3.95
Quantity:
The red clusterberry cotoneaster provides blazing autumn color and bright berries. Like the other species of Red clusterberry cotoneasters (Cotoneaster parneyi), this one has few insects or disease problems. It is also different because it is much larger in size and looser, less dense in structure.

The plant grows up to 8 feet tall and spreads about 8 feet wide. White flowers bloom in summer.
Plant in spring and fall months out of 1- or 5-gallon containers and space them about 10 to 12 feet on center for optimum results. They do best in full sun, but they can survive in partial shade. Their production of flowers and berries, however, will be much reduced in shaded areas. A neutral soil pH of 7.0 is ideal for these plants. Make sure the soil is porous enough to allow adequate percolation.
Zones 7-10
