This is the best of the mid-sized blue-leaved grasses. Strictly clump-forming, producing a dense tuft of erect, silver-blue foliage to 2 1/2' tall. The flowers appear in late spring and stand 2' above the foliage.
A native of western Mediterranean, it is evergreen in mild climates and semi-evergreen even in cold climates. Superb as a specimen, color accent, or container specimen.
